since we're already in the topic of midi controllers, i'd just like to ask if anyone has accomplished or tried to make his own midi foot pedal? im quite interested in making one for myself (16 switches with led indicators 1 LCD Screen) and was wondering if anyone could share his insights or comments...

MIDI trigger help
i own an m-audio trigger finger and i used to launch recording tracks. my problem is that when i record, i have to push and hold down the damn pad or else it'll stop recording and start playback. What paramaters do i need to change? :arrow: I'm definitely sure that my launch modes are all in trigger...

i'm not aware of a command to arm the selected track. if you can't have separate keys/midi for arming each one, some people leave them all armed at all times. it won't be left armed. since the configuration is for live to ARM and then Start Recording, when you press the button once more, it will la...

so you're mapping all your midi to keystrokes, even though Ableton Live accepts midi just as well? Might I ask... why? :? i was reading about the release of macs Boot Camp wherein you can use Windows software with your Apple computers... WOW.. are there downsides of doing this? i'm definitely buying a mac if it's as good as they say it is.
