Re: Copying / pasting warp markers of one clip to another
I answered my own question: Yes, I could have enabled stereo recording into one track. Next time, I'll (try to remember to) do it that way. I must have had a reason for separating tracks, but I guess I forgot that was an option rather than a necessity. So... still no way to copy the warping work I d...

Re: Copying / pasting warp markers of one clip to another
omigosh, that means I can't warp the Left channel and Right channel without repeating a lot of manual work? Surely there's a way. I have stereo inputs, 2 channels, and I just warped one perfectly. Do I really have to re-do that work for the other stereo channel? Is there a recording option I could h...

Re: Multiple Takes - Best way to do it?
Thank you, pottering. Somehow I failed to notice that this thread started earlier than the post I thought was the first. I'm glad to know what it's called in the manual. Bummed to realize that after I close my live set, I can't use Undo after reopening to move among the takes and select a different ...

Re: Multiple Takes - Best way to do it?
Sorry for the necropost, but I need to know how to record multiple takes and then 'unroll them' as mentioned here. I don't see it in the manual for Ableton Live Suite 10; maybe it's not even covered in the manual? Anyway, if one of my fellow Live users could lead me to a tutorial or details about ho...

Re: dj setup - need external soundcard for headphones (Mac)
"Turn off the track output if you only want it to go only to headphones. " That's key. Apparently a lot of us, me for example, assumed that the Cue function sends a track output to Cue exclusively but it does not. You must click the track's big square number button to prevent it from sendi...

Re: Simple MIDI CC filter
Sadly, I was mistaken. That is, I guessed wrong. I can't find a way to do it.Please could you briefly explain what that way that comes to mind is? I couldn't figure out a way to filter CCs using the chain selector.

Re: How to normalize a recorded audio?
You can feed audio from one track into another. Go crazy on track 2 with volume faders, compressors, whatever.

Re: Simple MIDI CC filter
think you can use an Instrument Rack's deep settings to do this, but the only way that comes to mind is tedious and involves that "Chain Selector" thingy.

Re: Automated pitch correction for complex audio
Coincidentally, I heard someone say yesterday that bells have strong minor 3rd overtones. I dunno if that's all bells, or just... his bells.

Re: More than one Master Out?
Are you on a Mac? I think you can create an imaginary audio device with Mac settings, and connect its outputs to your audio interface.
If so, check out the program called Audio MIDI Setup; do some web searching. Is that maybe something that could work for you?

Re: macOS CPU performance related to WindowServer
Didn't work for me in version 9.7.7. but threw an error instead. I removed the initial hyphen character, and now I don't get the error, but I don't know if anything changed yet.

Re: Ableton 10 suggestions
Modify the Analog synth so that I can set its Pitch Bend range to 24.
It'd be a great synth for me if it could do that. I have controllers and many setups that are stuck on a PB range of 24 and can't be changed. My main MIDI controller is a guitar synth that only has one setting: 24.

Re: Add Locator keyboard shortcut
I like the idea of being able to copy mappings from one Live set to many sets, but in practice, I can imagine that it might be difficult to manage without some kind of complex interface.
