Re: Ableton Live 10
The soft white underbelly of this is that most of these people asking for production features are bedroom producers who will never release anything.. DAW feature that have been one of the most requested: Record take folders (or any sort help for recording multiple takes) is requested by every big t...

Re: Keep hitting roadblocks when I try to make beats. Help!
Have you tried classic break loops? In early Beck stuff it was combination of classic breaks and he's own playing sampled and chopped. What you can try is when you have your "naked" loop going that have right beats but feel too weak. Browse some break loops that sound good with that and la...

Re: M4L Stability (POLL)
M4L is buggy piece of $hit what i say. It's nice when it's works but way too unstable for proper work. Most unstable has to be bundled LFO device that crashes live or just forgets the mappings and have to map again every time i open the project. I really hope that devices like LFO would be native de...

Re: Logic Pro X is out.
Midi plugins in Logic X beat the crap out of the Ableton midi plugs. Arpegiator, Chord and Scale are sooooo much better than in Live. There is also random velocity that is still missing from Live. I use midi plugs a lot and therefore i have not used logic much anymore. After X update i will switch b...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
I'm owner of Live 9 Suite and Maschine and big difference what Push and Mashine will have is the bundled drum library. Maschine comes with thousands of high quality drum samples for all genres. 9 Suite has very weak bundled drum library. It will be big disapointment for Push owners that you can't ju...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
the ismorphic keyboard and conform to scales functions can't be done in maschine. Actually, you can set scales on Maschine's pads to control it's own software in Maschine mode or to control Live or any other software in MIDI mode. I know it can be done with the Live controller template, how do you ...

Program Changes from one clip
I can set program change setting per clip, but how to do it via midi so i can program many program changes within just one clip? I use scenes to launch clips and i have clips that send program change info to external module, but in some scenes i would need to send program changes within that scene. ...

Select next scene on launch
I have a small problem. I'm launching scenes via midicontroller that is set to launch selected scene. I have selected the "Select next scene on launch" from preferences and it works fine. Everytime i hit "play" from midicontroller the next scene will launch. Problem is that i hav...

Re: Ableton / DMXIS help
I just ordered DMXIS and i'm hoping to get it by next weekend when we have show. I'm getting few LED lights for the show that i was thinking to try to controll, but as i test the software in Demo mode it seems that there is no presets for the LEDs i'm getting that are Multispot PS020A. How hard it's...

Re: Any new controllers that could replace a Trigger Finger?
Get cheap iPhone Touch and stick that into your guitar. It will not give you the tactile feedback of real rubberbuttons and no aftertouch/velocity, but it's wireless and you can also use it as XY pad.

Re: Ripping other artists off!
I steal all-the time. I sample vinyls, rip-off riffs from rock tracks etc.. No matter how accurately i try to copy something it allways end up sounding completely different. Basically I suck as a copyist :D My favourite quote is: "Being original and always doing the new thing is incredibly over...
