i run LIVE 2 on an iBook 800 G3 in OSX and have no problems really. ive played a few shows with it already and im loving the stability of the entire set up. there is more CPU usage than with my PC but the ease of OSX coupled with the stability of it is why i went with the iBook over my other Windows...

i use LIVE on an iBook 800 OSX with no problems. my live sets clock in at just under 54 mins.

cpu usage is a bit high but its rock solid and works like a champ.

i use that same iBook 800 with 640 megs of ram. it runs great! i also use a M-Audio Quattro card with it. this is a USB card.
i have to becareful about the amount of effects that i use and not go crazy but i have so far had no problems with it.

it is not slow on my iBook. the CPU usage is a bit higher but it still does what i want it to and does it with no problems. maybe up your RAM?

i use: iBook 800 640 megs of RAM M-Audio Quattro with the OS X beta drivers (cant remember which i am at work) LIVE 2.0 i currently have not peaked CPU usage in LIVE while running at least 12-13 tracks of audio with 2-3 effects at once. im trying to beat LIVE into submission but so far it is rock so...
