Competition is good!

Competition is good! Check this out for kicks as well. www.numark.com It appears that it was just announced. Would like to see video of it in action, as I can’t use the demo on my current computer. Because of this, and what I have seen from Torq, I would have to say I am leaning in the direction of ...

Is anyone DJing with loops and not actual songs?

Is anyone DJing with loops for the most part and hardly ever if ever playing actual songs? Is this even feasible? I don’t have any experience with loop software such as Acid, Fruity Loops and Ableton other than my brother made a sales call to Sonic Foundry or heard about them somewhere just after Ac...

Hi Glu! Did you get a scooter? Back on topic: So the reason I joined this forum was to ask what Live users thought about the Miko when it was first announced. I have not completely decided against it but I believe that what I will end up doing is getting a kick ass notebook, or maybe even a desktop ...

I have a question that I would very much appreciate an answer to: does M-Audio have a forum? I will admit to searching for one the other day and coming up empty so if I missed it and it is painfully obviously please feel free to point and laugh at me while you point me in the right direction. I ask ...

Well I picked up a dbx 120A on e-Bay earlier today just after making my prior post. I usually don’t do e-bay but the Buy It Now price was $100.00 and it is coming new in box with warranty so I felt it was enough of a deal to make me break down and actually go e-Bay. Yea, its my forth purchase on e-b...

Thanks for the replies. Whenever I knew I was using one it was always a DBX. Not the 120A as that came out long after the last time that I actually even went to a nightclub.

Wanted to bump this once before letting it slide into oblivion.
Guessing that Live users could use a plug in that provided a Subharmonic Synthesizer if one is needed?

Subharmonic Synthesizer

Hello again! Anyone have experience with one of these? I have never actually messed with one and have little knowledge of them but I remember early raves and clubs way back when used them and when used properly the low-end sound was incredible. If I remember correctly they worked very well with viny...

Scooters are really dangerous due to small wheels, breaking-specially in emergency throw them out of control and if it is wet you are gone. Good points and that does look like a real nice bike. Until this thread I had not thought about riding in a pretty long time and after making my post above I w...

Funny you mention Texas. I still owned my last scooter, a Lambretta 150, when I moved to Dallas for a couple of years but decided not to take it with me as that is a crazy place to drive even with a car. It would have been cool occasionally going up and down Deep Ellum every once in a while on a Fri...

A Vespa is a Scooter. A Lambretta is a Lambretta... Don't understand this but I will say that having both in my youth I would recommend a Lambretta over a Vespa. Instead of pressed metal it has an actual frame with even weight distribution unlike the Vespa that has a heavy right side, as that is wh...
