have you tried restoring the factory defaults on the axiom? i think you hold "+" and "-" while you turn the unit on. you'll lose anything you have set up on the axiom, but i've found that this takes care of a lot of problems when it isnt working right.

@fiver don't think so, I've experimented a bit with latency but it didn't make any difference. yeah, i dont think that messing with the latency would make much difference. after you record your loop, increase your buffer size to about twice(or more) what it was when you recorded, then drag it over,...

wow, that's embarrassing. looks like i need to read my live 7 power again.

my workaround for that problem would be to trigger the clip with the track muted, and unmute when you want it to come in.

have you messed with your buffer size at all?
