Rod Boyd (Barcelona)

Rod Boyd is a programmer and producer who has worked on many production and mastering projects for record labels in Barcelona, Spain. Having worked with many sequencers and hardware instruments in production, Rod has many years of experience in drum programming, sound creation and synthesis, mixing and mastering. His sequencer of choice is Ableton Live. Rod has been involved in teaching programming and sound creation privately and in academies and is currently the director of the Barcelona-based Cube Audio Workshop. Cube Audio offers many types of short, intensive courses to help beginners and more experienced producers develop their production skills with Ableton Live and many types of hardware and software instruments. Courses are three weeks in length and dedicated to specific skills. There is an entry level Ableton Live intensive course; a course dedicated to synthesis, sound creation and drum programming; and a course dedicated to production techniques to develop mixing and mastering skills. Each course is supported by detailed notes on each topic and some online practice sessions to try out between classes.
