Renier Vreugde (Rotterdam)

After playing drums in several bands, from jazz music to electronic crossover, Renier got interested and deeply involved in producing all kinds of music. Starting in 1996, he worked for two years as a producer and composer for The Hitbox. From 2001 on, Renier started to share his engineering knowledge and creativity with others. He taught for four years at the School of Audio Engineering in Rotterdam and has been doing workshops, clinics and training sessions all over The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany ever since. In 2005, Teach Music was born, his own dedicated school for Music Production and Audio Engineering Techniques. In addition to its many music production workshops, Teach Music is famous for their free Ableton Producer Café sessions: great nights of sharing Ableton tips and tricks. In his spare time, Renier regularly writes articles and produces video workshops for magazines and websites like DJ Broadcast and Interface magazine. Class size is limited to six students max, and individual customized instruction is available.
