Marcel Vonesch (Lucerne)

Marcel Vonesch has played guitar since 1976. He studied Commercial Arranging at the Berklee College of Music, where he learned to write and produce music for any kind of situation/formation, from film music to jingles to big studio productions. Over the last 25 years he has worked as a writer, producer and guitarist in a wide range of musical styles. He discovered Ableton Live with version 2 and has been using it in productions and live on stage ever since.

Today Marcel is the head of the Music-Computer Department at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art, where he teaches music software courses to a few hundred students every year. Over the last 12 years he has gained wide experience in teaching music software. He also teaches individual, customized private lessons and courses at various schools in Switzerland. His Ableton Live courses range from Basics to Producing with Ableton Live, On Stage with Ableton Live, Film Music, Remix, and many more.

Marcel is currently using Ableton Live in a stage project (called Soulbird) to produce loops and grooves and play various software instruments via a MIDI guitar.
