Ken Porter (Phoenix, AZ)

Producer, remixer, mastering engineer and musician Ken Porter has drawn on his international performing experience and his mastery of the latest software and hardware tools to stay on the cutting edge of electronic and pop music for over fifteen years. Ken specializes in advanced production techniques, finding unique ways to produce creatively in all situations, including pop, rock, dance, and spoken word. Ken personally landed a US and European record contract with his own band, succeeded in placing on the Deutsche Alternative charts, and has toured Europe and the US using Ableton Live as his primary performance tool. He has licensed his original music to video games and movies and has extensive experience in remixes and production, with several international releases under his belt. Ken has used Live since version 2.0 and uses the latest version as his main DAW in the studio and in his performances.

Ken currently offers one-on-one classes, with in-depth exploration and step-by-step procedures with follow-along videos. These classes can be conducted in either English or German, online or in person. Ken's classes can be project-based or student-directed through questions and answers, and they can, of course, be customized to fit students' needs.
