Emmanuel Guillard (Rennes)

Emmanuel Guillard is a French pianist/keyboardist and composer. Completely self-taught at computing, music theory and instrumental technique, he has been a professional musician for fifteen years. He plays jazz, soul, gospel, and electronic music and he composes for movies. Emmanuel discovered Ableton Live in 2005 (version 5) when popular European jazz choreographer Wayne Barbaste asked him to compose and perform on stage for his upcoming creations. He continues to work with Barbaste, and he has also produced one album and is currently working on the second. As the founder of his own training center, Intouch Media (www.intouchmedia.fr), Emmanuel teaches Ableton Live in classes ranging from the basics to advanced, and special techniques (he is soon to offer a music theory course for "non-musicians" using Live.).
