Cifap (Paris)

For 11 years, Cifap has been the leading audiovisual training center in France, offering full-time and part-time courses in music technology, audio engineering, post production and scenic arts, preparing students for careers in television, the recording industry and film. At Cifap we define ourselves as a professional training body entirely devoted to serving our trainees (musicians, sound engineers, editors, directors, actors, DJs, A&R, etc.). All of our trainers work in their fields of expertise and are motivated by the desire to pass on their know-how and experience. Cifap is proud to be the first and only certified training center for Ableton Live 8 in France.

Courses details: Our Live 8 courses are 10 intensive days in Paris or 15 intensive days in the French provinces. Cifap also offers high level courses of 3 days for production companies. We limit the number of trainees per session to a significantly lower figure than the market norm, with an average of 6 to 8 trainees for our Live 8 course. We also provide a professional and high-performance work environment. Our equipment is always up to date, we provide one workstation per person, and we employ an extremely reactive five-person technical and maintenance team.

At Cifap, we make training a real opportunity to create professional and personal ties, to share experiences and adventures that last through time with regular long-term post-training support for those who want it.

Prerequisites: It is recommended that trainees have a basic understanding of music technology.
