Future Arts (Leeds/Yorkshire)

Future Arts is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise, founded in 2008, which aims to inspire and uplift young people facing disadvantages into better futures through creative technologies. Their offices and production studio are based on Eastgate in Central Leeds.

The organisation provides a range of free and paid-for outreach workshops and courses, geared towards providing access to music and multimedia technologies for young people who wouldn't normally have the means to access such resources. They also arrange for industry professionals to supervise the sessions and deliver master classes, passing on their knowledge and skills to young people.

Future Arts offers highly professional, in-demand courses to those who want to succeed in music and media. They teach the creative and practical skills that producers, DJs and remixers need to develop their opportunities and careers, and their courses range from fast-track intensives to longer, more advanced courses.

Future Arts is running a series of master classes from the late summer to early autumn which include taught sessions in the use of Ableton Live and its practical applications for song-writing and producing.

Every Monday evening Future Arts host a drop-in session called Fusion which anyone from 13-25 can attend. The sessions focus on music production, mixing and lyricism, and our technicians are well-versed in Ableton Live and its practical applications and are more than happy to share their knowledge with all who attend. If you can't make the Monday evening workshops but would still like to take advantage of the equipment and skills offered by Future Arts then feel free to contact them to ask about arranging alternative sessions.

For education establishments and youth organizations, Future Arts offers a range of bespoke group sessions and alternative curriculum packages which feature Ableton Live tutelage.
