Ayr College has been delivering comprehensive training programs in the field of music, music technology and audio production for over seven years. Their programs are tailored to suit a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, from short night classes to full time National Certificate and Higher National Certificate and Diploma courses, all taught by industry professionals. Ayr College aims at delivering the essential skills musicians, audio engineers, DJs, producers and remixers require to work in an increasingly competitive and ever changing environment. The Ayr campus boasts state-of-the-art equipment and strives to always be on the cutting edge of both software and technological advances.

Ableton Live has been an essential part of Ayr College's education program for over two years at both the National Certificate and Higher National Diploma level. Ayr students are extensively trained in music production, performance, remixing, sampling and DJing, in addition to copyright law and remix history, with creativity and technological education being delivered in equal measure. Ableton has also allowed Ayr College to branch out into the community education sector, uncovering vast creative potential in non-musicians, both young and old, with great success.
