Tom Salta

After cutting his teeth on coproduction and remixing, Salta created his own musical identity and followed his passion for video games into the game music market. In 2004, Atlas Plug was born, and soon after the games came calling. These days Salta has found his groove, creating hard-driving soundtracks for games such as Need For Speed Underground 2, Ghost Recon and Rallisport Challenge 2 — as well as looping himself silly in Ableton Live.

"When creating the original score for Need for Speed Underground 2, and even the theme to Ghost Recon 2, I had to work on a very tight schedule. Live became an integral part of the creative process and enabled me to quickly do things with looped material that I would never have attempted otherwise."
