Topic: AudioVisual Methodology with Ableton Live and VDMX

Derek Michael is a sound artist who also does installation art, sculpture, video, graphic design, animation and software GUI design. He has released work on labels such as Sender, shitkatapult, HurZu, Detroit Underground and subvariant. In 1997, he co-founded Detroit Underground Records with DJ KERO, www.detroitunderground.net. The label has released material from artists such as Modeselektor, Jimmy Edgar, Apparat, Richard Devine, OTTO, Phon.o and Kero.

Bryant Place is an audio engineer, Lemur template designer, JazzMutant specialist, and a Visualist, with a focus on real-time visual installations and performances. He has done work for Kanye West's live performances and will be working on an electronic ambient album this year with Bruno Guez, owner of Quango records. Bryant is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University.
