i-dance/Ableton contest-winners announced

This summer's i-dance/Ableton contest was a hit. Hundreds of entries were received, and in hundreds of on-site reviews, i-dance members offered helpful and encouraging reviews of each other's work. Without further ado, here are the winners. Congratulations to all!

1st Place: Fobee - "Throw Your Handz Up"
This track by George Badea got the i-dance community rocking from the start, and as first-place winner, George picked up the full Ableton Suite. George made the track with Ableton Live 6. He says Live is "an awesome music program. It's the only sequencer I use for making music, and I'm totally hooked on it!"

2nd Place: Pegasus Dream - "Give us Heaven"
This clean, commercial-sounding trance track was submitted by producers BtB and Jansson. For their efforts, BtB and Jansson took home an Ableton Live 7 package.

3rd Place: Funk Avy and Taken by Cars - "Uh Oh"
Arvin Lapuz brought the funk in this track, with a solid bass and catchy vocal, and won a copy of Ableton Live 7 LE.

Best Reviewer: Oesterberg_Ost
Mario wrote nearly three hundred reviews during the contest, helping his fellow i-dancers improve their skills with his clear, concise comments. Mario earned an Ableton bag and shirt.

Ableton and i-dance thank everyone who competed in the contest or wrote reviews for other i-dancers. We appreciate your efforts. Keep improving your skills and working to get your music to the next level!
