CUBE Audio Workshop, Barcelona: Learn Live the modular wayCUBE Audio Workshop, in Gràcia, Barcelona, Spain, is offering music production courses in a new modular format that lets students design their own courses and complete their studies on a schedule that suits them. Students build courses using the modules that are appropriate to their specific requirements in both composition and music production. Ableton Live is offered as one three-week module. CUBE provides a computer, software, and MIDI controller keyboard for the use of each student. Teachers at the CUBE Audio Workshop are chosen for their skills appropriate to the course content and for their professional experience in the field. The courses are supported by online practices, a forum, instructor support (for resolving questions or problems that arise between classes) and a chat area for each group--for a fun way to communicate with classmates and share creative ideas during the course. Courses will also be available in a fully online format in 2009. The next Ableton Live Course Module starts September 15, 2008. |
