Ableton Live 6 Workshop for Advanced Users at the Laptop Battle in Stuttgart, Germany

Dankmar Klein will give a short introduction to the new features available in Live 6 just before the start of the laptop battle in Stuttgart. He will also cover various advanced topics, as well as providing a few selected expert tips.

Topics will include:

New effects, especially Racks and remote control
Macro Controls
Keyboard splitting/merging: allocating multiple, possibly overlapping, instruments across the keyboard
How to work with Compressor
What does the pink button do?!
Record Mode in general
Using returns/sends, how to incorporate effect channels
Live as a DJ mixer
Questions from the audience
