Under his Microlot alias, Luke crafts thoughtful music with evocative textures, a heavy dub influence and organic grooves. Ranging from ambient through to deep house and dub techno, his releases can be found on prominent underground labels such as Seven Villas, Sound Avenue and Drift Deeper. With a sharp focus on sound design and keen interest in synthesis and sampling techniques, Luke has worked as a sound designer for a number of industry heavyweights, including Arturia, Soundslates and Native Instruments.

Since completing a Bachelor of Music (Composition and Music Production) at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in 2013, Luke has shared his knowledge and love for music-making across a number of Sydney educational institutions, including the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), AIM, TAFE NSW and Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Luke completed postgraduate study in Higher Education Teaching and Learning at the University of Technology in 2018 and uses the skills, knowledge and experience he has gained in the classroom to design engaging courses and deliver exciting student-centered lessons and training.
