Lenny Kiser is a producer, DJ, audio engineer, and Ableton instructor. He currently teaches his own Ableton Live courses and organizes the SF Bay Area Ableton User Group in San Francisco, CA. Before starting his own training program, he taught at several of SF’s music production schools, including the Academy of Art University and SAE-SF.

With a background as a trained audio engineer from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, AZ, Lenny has developed an in depth technical knowledge of music and sound. He enjoys teaching and dedicates his time to helping others learn Ableton and the creative processes involved with producing music. He loves the challenge of teaching complex sound and musical concepts to his students in an intelligible and straightforward way. He even enjoys reading technical manuals!

Lenny is also an artist in his own right and produces a wide variety of dance music under his own name. He’s worked with renowned artists such as Eric Melvin from NOFX, and as a former member of the producer duo known as “Girls n Boomboxes”, he’s had the opportunity to share the stage with well-known acts such as Justice, The Twelves, and more. Lenny is known for his training tutorials and has been featured on DJ TechTools and the official Ableton blog.

Lenny is passionate about making music and helping others learn. He keeps in touch with the global Ableton community by posting daily Ableton Tips ‘n Tricks on his Facebook page. Lenny speaks, breathes and lives Ableton every day.
