With over 25 years of production under his belt, he samples everything that moves and gets meticulous with drums and breakbeats. Janne offers both beginner and advanced Ableton Live tuition as well as mixing and mastering related lessons.

Helsinki-based Janne Hatula, aka Fanu and FatGyver, has been making electronic music for over 25 years. The Finnish producer and musician boasts an ever-expanding discography of breakbeat music in varying tempos. After releasing drum & bass on several indie labels such as Subtitles, Offshore, Commercial Suicide, and Ninja Tune, Janne started his own, Lightless Recordings.

Janne’s meticulous drumworks have received international acclaim and taken him around the world to perform as a DJ and live artist. Alongside being active and prolific in the studio, Janne is an avid Ableton Live trainer and runs an in-demand mixing and mastering company. He has a teaching qualification from the university of Helsinki and has been teaching since 2008.

Janne has been using Ableton Live since version 6 and his expertise in teaching covers beginner to advanced levels. Classes range from tailored one-to-one sessions at home to group workshops, in person or online. Teaching can be arranged in Finnish and English.
