Hitansu Patnaik is an established music producer, arranger and composer, multi-instrumentalists, mixing engineer and vocalist based in Pune, India. He has nine years of experience in the music industry, with six years of teaching experience as an educator. His style of music fuses Indian classical music with electronic music, and he mostly works for the Indian film industry as a music arranger, programmer and mixing engineer.

Hitansu Patnaik has been working as a mixing engineer, sound designer, vocalist and educator for the last seven years. Working in the Indian film industry, as well as the music industry and on TV commercials, he collaborates with international and independent Indian artists, bands and movie productions. His musical genre and style spans world music, fusion, Bollywood commercial, pop, and deep and progressive house. He also loves to infuse Indian classical elements and vocals with electronic music and continually develops his own style of Indian classical-electro music.

He has been an educator for a number of renowned colleges in India for the last five years, conducting workshops and mentorship programs for industry professionals and music enthusiasts. He has educated more than 700 students and has been designing his own curriculum to teach an Electronic Music Production module. He is currently educating students at Seamedu, one of India’s leading media schools and the country’s first Ableton Certified Training Center, where he is taking care of the music production and sound modules. Hitansu’s expertise lies in the creative process of using technology with the basic understanding of the fundamentals of sound and music. He uses Ableton Live for his music-making process and, while experiencing the Indian music industry, began another extensive aspect of his career in the education world, where he has always been mentoring and curating Ableton Live users and music-makers. He is now designing a Max for Live course at Seamedu to teach students about Live extensions and help them understand the power of the Max platform. He is currently focused on the short-term, online course and has designed a lesson plan which allows beginners and professionals alike to understand the advanced features of Live and Push. His expertise of teaching inclines towards practical, real-world scenarios and showing students how to handle the various complicated situations that arise while making or mixing music.
