Aaron Zilch has been making electronic music for over 18 years. As a teen, his bedroom was a jungle of wires connecting a modular menagerie of hardware drum machines, samplers, and early digital audio workstations. As keyboardist/programmer/sound designer for American Head Charge he was signed to American Recordings.

In 2001 they released "The War of Art", which was produced by Rick Rubin and debuted at #1 on Billboard's "Heatseakers" chart. An early adapter of laptop production, Aaron has been an Ableton power-user since 2002, and has utilized the program in the studio, for live performance (solo and with a full band), on multimedia projects, and for theatrical scoring.

He also DJs and is a circus sideshow variety performer, most recently co-creating and starring in the critically acclaimed "FREAKS" at Harrah's O'Shea's Casino on the Vegas Strip.

Aaron has been giving one-on-one electronic music production and songwriting lessons since 2000 with a hands-on approach tailored to his student's goals, recently he has also branched out into doing presentations for groups of all ages and skill levels. Lessons emphasize techniques for personalizing and humanizing the electronic music production and performance experience, while also providing a solid grasp of music theory and a bit of history and business.

In 2011 Aaron became an Ableton Certified Trainer and relocated to Los Angeles to continue providing quality musical education and to work on a variety of projects.

Specializing in Industrial Rock, Hip-Hop, Dub, Bass, Electronic Dance Music, and Experimental genres.

Programming specialties include: Live controllerism utilizing advanced Rack, Macro, and "Dummy Clip" programming; custom drum kit and beat creation; synth programming and experimental sound design; using modular, generative processes to kickstart creativity; arrangement; remixing; nonlinear live theatrical scoring.
