Ableton, Inc. Expands US Sales Team
Ableton Inc, is happy to announce the expansion of its US sales force with the introduction of the team that will be dedicated to serving the entire country's distributors and retailers.
Terry Hardin joined Ableton Inc in August as the new Senior Account Manager. Terry brings years of experience in music technology and relationship-building to Ableton, where he will help increase US distribution for the company's award-winning music production software, Live 6 and Live 6 LE.
"I have been a fan and a Live user for a number of years, and I am amazed by the advances that have been made with Live 6," says Terry. "Live is the single most musical and intuitive music production software available, and I am honored to be a part of the team that's making it available to every musician, producer and performer in the country."
Terry is based in Santa Cruz, California, and will be working closely with the teams in Ableton's New York and Berlin offices, including inside sales support coordinators Sam Walker and Cindy O'Shea in New York.
Dedicated Product Specialists
Working closely with Terry are two Ableton product specialists, Huston Singletary and Laura Escudé. Huston lives in Atlanta, where he has been busy closing out Ableton's first year of independent distribution (prior to January 2007, M-Audio was Ableton's US distributor). "I will be focusing my efforts in the near term on the launch of our extremely affordable version of Live called Live 6 LE," says Huston, who joined the company in 2006.
As Ableton's lead clinician and product specialist, Huston creates demo and training content and conducts in-store training sessions and clinics around the country, primarily on the East Coast and in the Midwest. "Ableton will be opening a lot of eyes throughout the remainder of 2007," Huston predicts. "I believe I got here at the perfect time."
Laura Escudé is based in Los Angeles and conducts training sessions and clinics throughout the Western United States. "Ableton is an exciting, innovative company that reaches a wide variety of customers," Laura says. "And now we're poised to reach a whole new level of enthusiasts, thanks to the addition of Live 6 LE and the strong team we've put together." A recent addition to Ableton growing ranks, Laura appreciates the creative connection with Ableton's customers. "My work is very rewarding--I get to inspire the music-makers of the future!"
Ableton's US sales force is in place, in gear, and hard at work getting the complete line of Ableton products out to distributors and retailers, helping support their efforts across the country.
