Those videos show that we can just make anything we want in Live 6 if only we put time in it.

A distorting tape echo on your own in 4 mins
A supersaw with operator in 5
A sidechain in 1 min
A Kick drum for dance music
and some 303-alike sequence (for hardfloor fans)

All of this from scratch with no presets.

no man, it's not clear. nobody is going to click links with no description, that's just the way it goes. if you notice that a user (hoffman2k) sorts through the links, categorizes them and puts the link on the first page. Be cool, help him out.
also, if any of the links you posted were good, people would want to search for them, as it is, they can't.

anyway, thanks for contributing, help us out.

question about the wiki videos for Live.

just browsing through them and maybe i've done something completely wrong, but it appears as though every video attributed to ableton.com(as opposed to the VTC.com ones) does not take you to anything realted to the topic or even ableton at all - they all appear to do some weird video on 3-d rendering in some graphics program.

check the very first one(recording audio), which i've just copied from that wiki live page: http://www.digitaltutors.com/digital_tu ... =648andf=q

or am i missing something?

a really good video showing how to subtract an instrumental from a full track to get the vocals.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0BLpoEYx4U

and hitting that youtube page there are other good examples. refer to the 'utility plug in' trick in this sticky.
