Hi folks,

We have just uploaded a beta version of the upcoming Live bug fix update.
The final version will be released in the next few days.
Everybody Live 4 user is welcome to pre-check this beta.

We decided to make this "some kind" of public beta, but with very reduced
support from our side. That means, please send your Live 4.1.2 beta feedback
ONLY to beta@ableton.com.

Please do not post feedback in the forum or send to our support.
Please do not send general Live questions or feature wishes.

Mac OS X: http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... e411b2.sit
Mac Os 9: http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... e411b2.hqx

Windows: http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... e411b2.zip

Current version: Live 4.1.1b2

Limitations:
- a Live 4 serial is needed to unlock
- will run only until 28h February
- does not contain Manuals
- does not contain Starter Sets
- The Windows version does contain some additional debug code to create crash logs.
Therefore the version is about 10% to 20% slower as the final release version.

thanks and regards,
Alex

there have been developer seeded versions of Tiger since last year.

i'm sure its very important for them to remove this bug so that 3rd party plugin developers can be assured that their plugs will still function in Ableton under OS 10.4

Reasonable point..........but isn't it inevitable that the final release version of Tiger (whenever that is.......30 June ??) will be different to developer seeded versions.........seems just as likely that the 10.4 reference is a typo. :D

it takes developer seeds to establish stable software.

Still in holiday mode and doing my internet from pre-pay dial-up cards and just seen this update - can anyone tell me if there's anything juicy in it or whether it's just a bug fix with not much excitement in it???

cheers

It finally sports that cupholder you've been asking about :)
Figuring you own the operator, this update wont be of too much relevance.
by the time your back it's a new version instead of a new beta. :)
