Your mission

Ableton is growing, and so is its Finance unit. We set up the administrative processes and infrastructure which facilitate our globally-expanding activities and enable financially-informed decision making. Within the Finance unit, our Payroll Team is looking for a new colleague to contribute to Ableton’s growth.

As a Payroll Specialist, you are one of the key players when it comes to our shared vision for a unique workplace for our colleagues. By keeping our national and international payrolls running smoothly, you contribute to a safe, sustainable environment that enables all parts of Ableton to be as productive as they can be. Your expertise in payroll-relevant laws and regulations makes you a reliable partner for our colleagues and teams.

Your responsibilities

  • You are largely responsible for all operative tasks, contributing to a stronger, more flexible team setup
  • You advise our colleagues on their various payroll-related questions by applying your knowledge of local tax and social security regulations
  • You work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with different teams and individual stakeholders across the Ableton Group
  • You remain in regular dialogue with our external partners and consultants to enable mutually beneficial collaboration and help deliver quality results on time
  • You develop and implement team projects that help improve our processes and services
  • You actively contribute to your role’s development

Your profile

  • You consider yourself a payroll enthusiast, enjoy working with numbers and feel comfortable handling the large data sets of a medium-sized company
  • You have great communication skills and are fluent in both German and English
  • You know what it means to work with sensitive or confidential data, having dealt with HR or payroll information in the past
  • You have a good understanding of existing German wage tax and social security laws, and keep up to date with any changes in legislation
  • You have experience working in a fast changing environment and know how to organize your work self-sufficiently
