Your mission

As the Head of HR Business Partners within the People Team, you'll lead the HR Business Partners who aim to be a trusted and effective partner for our people in the company. You are responsible for mentoring individual team members and working on a variety of strategic, project-based and operational tasks.

In this role you are the link between our Business Partners and the People Team Manager. You’ll support your team members in their personal development and encourage an environment of appreciation and feedback through supportive leadership. With your team, you further shape its overall strategy and strategic people topics, keeping sight of the team’s goals and coordinating their execution. You identify opportunities for improved people service in the business partner role and take time to reflect upon and coordinate the team setup.

Your role

  • You lead the HR Business Partner Team in close cooperation with our People Team Manager, and build productive relationships with our managers and coaches to ensure the holistic support of our people.
  • You are a sparring partner and mentor for your team, support their personal development and maintain fair compensation.
  • You understand the Business Partner Team’s tasks and portfolio, providing new perspectives and approaches to the way we work. You also help define priorities and guide focus in relation to the bigger picture.
  • You are a trusted partner for part of the Ableton business, consulting on processes, regulations and options, balancing individual and company needs. You proactively identify opportunities for improvements of the business partner service portfolio derived from Ableton’s strategy and challenges.
  • You enhance alignment and synergy in the Business Partner Team, as well as maintaining strong relationships with other teams supporting the employee experience.
  • Together with us, you further shape the People Team strategy and contribute to company-wide strategic people projects.

Your profile

Skills and experience

  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role, with a determination to continuously grow oneself and others.
  • You have worked on conceptual and strategic HR topics, such as compensation, personnel development and compliance.
  • You have experience working in an international company.
  • You have substantial knowledge of HR processes along the employee life cycle, along with a working knowledge of German HR laws, regulations and compliance.
  • You have excellent knowledge of HR tools, processes and implementation in an international context.
  • You speak fluent English and good German.
