Your mission

Our hardware team is growing and looking for reinforcement. As Firmware Engineer you are the connecting link between hardware development and app development. You use your problem-solving skills to find suitable solutions to technical challenges. The results of your work are embedded software for our hardware products and factory test applications. Additionally, you are responsible for testing and debugging hardware prototypes. 

Your role

  • Low-level embedded programming

  • Programming hardware interfaces (USB, MIDI, SPI, I2C, I2S)

  • Real-time programming, microcontrollers and parallel processing

  • Tool development, GUI programming and scripting

  • Hardware debugging with the help of tools

  • Interface documentation

Your profile

Skills and experience

  • You studied mathematics, physics, digital signal processing or electrical engineering

  • You have three to five years of experience in hardware-oriented programming 

  • You are highly experienced with C and are familiar with assembly languages

  • You are proficient in one of the following languages for tools development: Kotlin, Python, Java, Swift, Rust or Objective-C

  • You have experience with hardware and software debugging and diagnostic tools

  • You know how to use GIT

  • You are fluent in English

  • You have good communication skills and are able to present ideas to others clearly

  • You are a team player, open minded and interested in gaining insights into other viewpoints
