Your mission

Ableton's Asia Pacific team, based in Tokyo, is looking to expand on its ability to provide both end-customers and retail partners in Japan with first class support. In joining our small and diverse regional team, your job will be to ensure that Ableton maintains its reputation for attentive, friendly and flexible customer service.

Your tasks

  • Answering end-customer and retailer inquiries via phone, chat and email
  • Providing customer service by helping end-customers and retail partners with sales, orders, and account & licensing queries
  • Providing occasional first-level technical support, helping customers with usability issues, setting up our products and other tasks
  • Connecting with our user base on social channels
  • Distributing customer and retailer feedback to Ableton teams and project managers
  • Collaborating with fellow Support colleagues and other Ableton teams to define the best customer experience
  • Writing articles for Ableton’s knowledge base

Your profile

  • 2-3 years of experience offering customer service via phone and email
  • Great service mentality and ability to think from a customer's perspective
  • Solution-oriented and ability to solve problems on your own
  • Team player with independent and proactive work style
  • Native-level written and spoken Japanese, Professional-grade English skills

Skills and knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of Ableton Live & Push
  • Strong verbal and written command of Japanese and English
  • A deep understanding of customer needs
  • Ability to work efficiently during periods of high demand
  • Team Player with the ability to solve problems
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Experience working with common Support IT infrastructure solutions
