Marcello Ruggiu (Milan, Italy / London, UK)
Marcello Ruggiu began his career as musician in 1994 and by 2005 he had earned a degree in audio engineering from the SAE Institute in Milan. His focus is live and studio recording with a particular interest in electronic production (IDM, Breakbeat, Drum and Bass). When Marcello discovered Live he began using it for all his productions and live performances. Marcello combines a deep knowledge of Ableton Live with strong skills as a MIDI programmer and controllerist . He has taught in the SAE Live class collective and has collaborated with Giancarlo Lanza (one of the foremost proponents of Live in Italy). In cooperation with SAE staff and teachers, Marcello has been teaching certificate-level SAE courses in electronic music production and DJ techniques.
