Relativity Education offers a variety of film, music, media and performing arts courses, ranging from long-term programs to summer workshops. With curricula developed in collaboration with industry insiders, taught by working professionals, and operated from an active studio lot, our programs provide unparalleled opportunities for the next generation of actors, filmmakers and content producers.

The Relativity Education mission lies at the crossroad of art and commerce. The programs train students to think like entrepreneurs and challenge them to embrace the rapidly changing technological landscape that’s shaping the future of entertainment.

The premier music production course offered by Relativity is our 12 week Electronic Music Sessions  program. Designed by Ableton Certified Trainer Ryan Origin, this series of weekly classes feature lectures from Ryan and a rotating cast of Ableton Certified Trainers, music producers and mix-and-mastering engineers – all with the express purpose of teaching you to increase the quality of your music and workflow using Ableton Live. The core of our 12 week series is broken down into weekly 3-hour classes. These classes are divided into lecture and hands-on segments. In addition to the core classes, you have access to weekly development hours where you can get support on projects from one of our instructors. In addition, we offer additional bonus sessions featuring highly-regarded artists and/or technicians who give a lecture covering their area of expertise. Finally, reading assignments are given from the book “Making Music” by Dennis DeSantis. A copy of the book is given to every student on your first day of class.

We are proud to be the first in the world to provide classrooms with SubPac S2 Tactile Bass Systems, Audeze LCD-XC Planar Magnetic Headphones and Ableton Push for every student workstation. Poor classroom acoustics are a problem in many learning environments, but our combination of SubPac and Audeze technology ensures that you have access to consistent, world-class, high-fidelity monitoring. Ableton Push is the best possible way of interfacing with Ableton Live and acts as a powerful shorthand for learning the software quickly and effectively.
