A fortuitous opportunity to change career direction in 2005, allowed Andrew to move from science teaching to a role with a focus on helping teachers and students to understand the benefits of using cutting edge technologies to support learning. This move allowed Andrew to bring together his love of teaching and music technology. He has led many workshops for students and teachers helping them to unlock creativity in DJing and contemporary music production using great tools such as Ableton Live.!

Since August 2010, Andrew’s passion for using technology to transform learning has seen him move to Norway, where he currently works as Director of Technology at the International School of Stavanger. The last three years has seen a transformation in the way technology is used to enhance teaching and learning, and Andrew is currently working closely with the music department to deeply embed tools such as Live into the music curriculum.
