What's the easiest way to merge two mono clips into one stereo clip?

I've recorded a bunch of percussion in stereo and have already made them into clips.  Now I need to do a bit of warping.

What is the best way to take two clips and merge them as one stereo file?

Thank you

The simplest way to do this is to put the clips you want to mix together in separate tracks (as many as you like):

Then set up an empty audio track and arm it to record. Using the IO section send the audio from the tracks you want to mix to the empty audio track.

Hit the play button in the scene launch (master track).

Your new, mixed clip will be recorded in the empty slot. The quality of this new clip will be dictated by your preferences, I would recommend 32bit 48khz if you're not sure.

You also may need to adjust the volume of the original clips so that the mixed clip does not 'clip' i.e. the signal go above 0dB.

    Regards, Mark

That's a useless method if you want to merge the L and R tracks of 12 hours of audio clips, now, isn't it?  should be a very simple algorithm accessible by an assignable keystroke
