Use Inputs of two Soundcards

Hello there,

i have got a Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 and a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB.

Now, i want to use the inputs of both soundcards at the same time. At the moment i can just sum up the outputs of the two interfaces using the audio-midi-setup of my osx.

Please help me, i dont have enoug money to afford a bigger soundcard and i need those inputs for live performances!

Sorry for my bad english, i'm from germany.

Greetings

First of all, don't be shy about your English: a) it's pretty good, b) Ableton guys are German themselves :)

As far as using both interfaces at the same time, I'm afraid this is not possible. The only solutions I know of (and, people, correct me if I'm wrong) is using ADAT or having 'chain able' sound cards like MOTU Traveler or Focusrite something (don't remember the reference).

Having said that, if someone knows of a workaround, let me know. I'm curious.

    Kind regards,

    Agar-Agar

I think it is possible to make a virtual audio device that contains 2 sound cards: but not sure how this works exactly.
