Mono audio input to output in stereo

Hi

I've just started using my Minibrute through Ableton and understand that the master audio out from the synth is unbalanced and therefore enters Abletons mixer in mono. Unfortunately, the audio leaves the master track in mono. Is it possible to output the audio through both of my monitors?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try putting a stereo plugin on the track: even Live's own "utility" plugin should do the trick.

First, a balanced signal has nothing to do with that signal being stereo or mono. In short is has to do with canceling out any noise introduced along the way.
Second, a mono signal that hasn't been panned IS coming out of both speakers. The signal is exactly the same, reaching both ears and placing it in the center of the stereo field.
Making a mono source sound stereo involves changing the signal in one or both channels making your ears hear different things.
Try delay, chorus, reverb, doubling etc.

Or you just use a mono-stereo-plugin. There's more than just the Ableton plugins.
