Tuning Fork Samples - problem with dropping pitch

I'm am sampling a collection of chromatic tuning forks I have. The problem I have is that when I drop the samples into my empty Drum Rack they drop in pitch about 55cents.  I can adjust the tuning however there is still a noticeable pitch bend that happens as the tuning forks sustain.  It's like ableton is trying to control the pitch and not able to or some MIDI parameter is being tweaked.

What's up with this?

Are the samples automatically being warped using the re-pitch algorithm maybe ? Maybe turn off automatic warping or change the default warping mode in your Ableton preferences.

I have issues with other samples..they waiver sometimes. Warping is off on these samples.  I'm using Ableton to score a film. Is this a clocking issue or some kind of smpte problem?

By 'waiver' do you mean that things aren't quite in sync in places with the visuals ? Are you importing a video track into Ableton to do the score - If so you have to ensure the video codec used is frame accurate or you can have sync issues ...

Thanks. When I say "waiver" I mean actual pitch change: an "A" tuning fork is 50cts sharp or flat. I have them loaded into a Drum Rack.  So it's not a sync issue, maybe a clock issue? It doesn't effect AUDIO just sample players.
