track volume not available in arrangement view

Can someone help please with what is probably a simple matter, but which, to me, at this stage of learning the software, seems mysterious.

The "track volume" under mixer, in arrangement view, is greyed out, and the line is brown rather than red. It's an audio clip. I've deleted all automation, but "track volume" is still greyed out and the line is still brown.

Not sure what this means and why it is like it is. That said, I don't recall what I did to make "track volume" unavailable. ....

Thx/.

Is the audio sent to the master?  (right from the "mixer" segment?)

Maybe you could show a screenshot?

    Hi,

I am currently having the same problem as above! I spent forever getting all my track volumes perfect and now the lines are brown not red, and my audio clips just all play at the same volume instead! I still see all the adjustments I made, but it is like the program just isn't applying them.... I tried to see if the audio was sent to the master, like it said in the above response, but I'm really new to this and don't see how to send them? Any advice?
