tempo changes when working with video

i got brig problems when i want to change the songtempo when im composing for film or videos with ableton.

when i cut audio on the timeline especially for sfx  the audio wont stay in sync with my video cause the clipsizes are changing in relation to the tempo grid..

warping is not a solution here cause i dont want to timestretch anything..

the only workaround is to consolidate all audio clips to the same start time then the video and audio stay in sync.

there should be an option to lock audio on the timeline or the possibility that just the grid in the background simulates the new tempo and not the size of the audio in relation to the grid.. look at pro tools and you know what i mean.

am i missing something here?

I have this same problem. Come on Ableton, please give us a solution for this! Something like other DAWs where you can make the underlying timebase linear (i.e. clips start at a constant timecode regardless of tempo) or musical (where they start at a constant bar position, which changes with the tempo) would be perfect, and surely not too hard to implement.
