Some plugins not showing in browser

Using 9.5 Suite 64-bit. They're 64-bit VSTs - some other pligs are showing,, just not certain ones. All Valhalla reverbs, for example. Also Lush-101.

It isn't a 0.5 problem - I was using 9.5 before I reinstalled Windows 10 and everything was fine.

Tried alt clicking rescan, reinstalling plugins. Stumped. The .dlls are in the folder, but Live refuses to see them.

It's a dire solution, but you could try resetting Live preferences, as documented here:

If Live crashes during plugin scan -- which was happening a lot in early revisions of Live 9 -- it keeps track of the plugin that crashed Live during the scan, and skips it the next time you start up.

Don't know if there's a more surgical approach. You could try setting the VST Custom folder somewhere else, and then setting it back to your regular plugin directory and see if that helps.

As with Live 9.2 some changes to Live's plugin handling have been introduced, this might make it necessary to update some of your plugins.

Also try running Ableton in Administrator Mode (details here - ) - made some plugins reappear for me :)

Yep same here after upgrading to 64 bit. NI komplete, which is not 64 or 32 bit dependent, nothin shoing up except a different 3rd party synth. tried removing that synth, tried renaming dlls to _64, tried folder scans, alt click scans, nothin working. going back to 32 bit, see what happens.  (was fine on my mac to update to 64 bit, but my PC with windows 7 aint' liking this).
