Can I e mail wav. audio files?

    Yeah, as long as the mail provider supports big files. Or you could use other sharing methods ;)

    Normally high quality .wav files are too large to transfer over a standard email account (gmail has a 25 mb limit on single files). Although it may "work" when you upload it, there is no guarantee that the receivers mail provider will accept the file. 

    I would suggest using We transfer (https://www.wetransfer.com/) for one time file transfers and dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/) for sharing folders with groups of people, being able to storing files online, and to easily create download links if you want share the same file again in the future.

    While we're at it... Does Live convert the output to mp3, before uploading it to SoundCloud??
