Recording Output from Looper While Looping

Hey guys,
Have searching through the forums, and read over the manual twice looking for an answer but couldnt find anything. I have set up ableton loopers on 4 audio tracks, and I want to be able to engage the looper and have ableton record the loopers output. So if i record a loop and then hit 'play' the loop should be getting recorded-  as well as me playing over the top of it, if I decide to.

It seems no matter what I do, Ableton does not let me to record the output from looper. I understand I can drag clips out from looper, but this doesn't work for me as I want to build up  and record a composition improvisationally.

I have Input->  Output set to Always, and the inputs are coming from External IN, while the output is to master.  The other option I have selected is 'Mixer' With 'Speaker on' as the dropdown option selected below.

Any ideas? Maybe get Mobius?

Thanks guys!

You could make blank audio tracks that are taking their 'Audio In' from the looper channels. You'd have to devise a way to engage the recording on the empty channels though.

I know this is an old post, but....

can you just resample the looper output onto a new audio track?
