Push sloooooooooooooow delivery

I have ordered (and paid) a Push on April 21 (with Bax-shop / Holland). In the meantime the delivery time has been changed 7 times. The last information I received is that delivery is now expected August 28 (of this year ;-) ).

I can understand that Ableton underestimated the demand for the Push but this is really ridiculous.

I don't understand why they keep on advertising for a product they cannot supply (and it always says: estimated shipping time 4 - 6 weeks) as if there are no problems.

I've always learned that being honest and straightforward pays off in the long run. What I see now with Ableton (and/or their distributors/dealers): arrogant attitude and disdain for their customers!

I ordered mine the day it came out (March 5th) and I am still waiting. They have charged my account now so I imagine it should be here soon. It has been terrible customer service, ableton has basically been ignoring everyone on all the online forums and social networks. I think they should develop a free pack as a way of an apology to the customers who have been waiting. I'm going to be writing to future music mag and computer music mag about it, since we have just been ignored by Ableton.

Wholly fricken crap!!! Thank you for the info!!  I was about ready to pull the trigger and order one after seeing the 4-6 week lead time on the order page!!!  Please update this thread once you finally get it and let everyone know your actual order to delivery time!!!  I mean they should be giving people a hundred bucks off for waiting that long!!!  I sure hope you find it amazing and worth the wait once you finally lay your hands on it!!!  Good luck... Peace...

I'm afraid we're currently seeing our Ableton cool-company-with-nice-guys-taking-care-of-their-beloved-customers, becoming some other company  driven by money and business success and what it implies if you want to survive - which means, grow, improve, invest, and earn more money. Not necessarily for the bad, but a change it is for sure. In the mean time, my waiting time for Push has falled from 4-6 weeks to 2-4. Money has not not drawn from account yet. So things are not THAT bad but I think there has been a communication mistake by not stating out clearly that Push was not ready for deliver yet, or, big maybe, that commands by FAR exceeded  the number they were to produce and the whole production/support/distribution thing needed to be reconsidered.

I can understand that Ableton underestimated the succes of the Push. And I would have accepted a long waiting time if they would  have kept communicating with their customers. The ostrich policy they hold on to now shows that they don't respect their customers.

I switched from Reason to Live a few years ago but I am very tempted to sell Live9 and Push (whenever it arrives) and switch back to Reason.

The least we deserve as customers is respect and I feel that I was not respected at all.

    Hi,

The estimated delivery time you've been given at the time of your order and that you can check on your account page is valid for you. The delivery time given on the Push page always refers to a new order.

If you have ordered Push from a third party, please refer to the third party's information as we cannot predict their delivery times.
