One clip starts others unwanted

There may be a simple answer: I am a writer and I use Ableton live together with Launchpad Pro during my play readings. I just play my sounds from the session view. Now I have recorded my voice to the arrangement view of the same file. And suddenly from the session view I get additional sounds when I hit a pad on the Launchpad. Lets say I want to play the second sound of the second track. So now I hear it together with the first sound of the first track, which I did not touch. How can I avoid this? How can I use it?

I have migrated from Logic X and just love Ableton live. But still have some problems to understand the philosophy. So please forgive my silly question.

regards

Me again. I have found out that, whenever I launch a clip from the session view, the arrangement view gets into "play". That ist, why I hear other sounds. Is there a way to avoid this?

Try hitting the Stop All Clips Button on the Master track.
