No Paste Time in Ableton 9?

It seems as though the ability to copy a segment of clips in the arrangement view and paste it elsewhere has been removed. The only option is 'Cut Time' and even upon doing that there is no way to Paste it back in.

Previously, say if I wanted to move part B to in between part C and D I would select B and  right click the Loop Selector in the Scrub Area and click 'Cut Time' then drag the Loop Selector to the end of part C and right click and click 'Paste Time'. Or doing the same for say copying part A to after part D.

This is something I used to use a lot in previous versions.

Can someone confirm that I'm not missing something?

This was a problem for me at 1st too in Ableton 9 but I found there is a small trick to doing this technique.  Please try the following:

    1)  In Arrangement View, highlight the length of time you wish to cut.

NOTE:  It does not matter which track you highlight to select the desired time to cut.

    2)  Press Command+Shift+X or Select "Cut Time" from the "Edit" menu.

    3)  On the row for Track 1 ONLY, Click where you want the cut time to be inserted.

    4)  Press Command+Shift+V or Select "Paste Time" from the "Edit" menu.

NOTE:  Again, the key here is that when you go to paste your copied time, you have to be on Track 1.

save the current live set as...and give it a new name. Old one still won't work but newly renamed one does...or at least it did for me.

As long as you have the first track selected it will appear in the click menu.  Such a strange bug.

Cool. Thanks a lot! It's strange how they took it out of the right click menu. I didn't see it in the edit menu
