midi note lenght, notes are cut at beginning of the bar

in a clip of 1 bar lenght a note off is always send at the end end of the bar.

Is it possible to "overlap" notes bejond the 1.0.0.

For example a note at possition 0.4.0 with lenght 2 quaters is always cut off to 1 quaters at 1.0.0.

Do you mean when you are recording? If so, then your recording window has to be longer than or equal to the length of your midi notes. if you want more midi, you simply have to have a longer recording.

no at playback. When a note is longer than the loop the note is cut at the end of the loop

if you drag the loop longer and then extend the note, you will have more room. However, if you just drag the note beyond the clip length, then it will not play. ableton sends an all off after clips are done playing so you can't get hanging notes.

    1. Make longer clips, this way the sustained notes at the end will not cut.
    2. To make it easy use de duplicate function.
    3. If you are using an audio clip you can arrange both, play then solo through the master and use the resamplig function in a routed channel (I-O> audio from resamplig>record the final result in a new sample)

Just one question. How do you expect to a loop play longer then it is looped? o.O
