Max 6 by default

Hi,

I currently have Max 5 and 6 installed on my computers. When I want to edit a M4L patch or create a new one, Max 5 is launched. Is it possible to have M4L launching Max 6 instead of 5 (since I would like to keep Max 5 installed, in the case 6 would be too much "buggy") ?

Thanks,

Best,

Nakatano.

(in fact, have the opportunity to "switch" between 5 and 6 in Live preferences or something would be ideal of course)

    Hi Nakatano,

You can use the path that Julien provided to switch to Max 6 - be advised, however, that there are objects in Max 6 that will not work correctly in Max 5, and that anyone who owns Max for Live and does not buy Max 6 standalone will be unable to use such patches. Additionally, we cannot, at the moment, guarantee full compatibility for Max 6 in Max for Live.

So, if you'd like to share what you've done in Max for Live, then we strongly recommend that you use Max 5.

There's no update to the Live pack. The content is the same.

    Cheers
