Is Live 8 available in 64-bit?

Hi,

does anyone have experience with Live 8 on 64-bit systems like Windows 7?

Is there a stable 64-bit version, and do I have to purchase it separately from 32-bit version?

I am planning an upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit.

Cheers

I've checked, but still can't understand where to download 64-bit Live 8. Is it the same installer as 32-bit? It doesn't show up in Your Software explicitly.

I would also like to hear some user's experience with 64-bit version.

I open the website, click Help, and the first thing i read is this: https://www.ableton.com/en/articles/live-8-beta-download-links/

About user feedback: have you looked around on the forum?

I've seen that, but other articles only mention 64-bit version, so I thought there is a final, non-beta release...

the beta works fine, everything is functional including rewire.

expect it to be out of beta anytime soon around the launch of Live 9

@nrg: Awesome. But I'm willing to wait for the video features. I don't mind using the 32-bit version, if it runs good on x64 system.

@OCEANS: That shouldn't be possible, see this

You have to buy jbridge to run 32bit plugs in Live 8 64bit. Try the demo. Max for live addon does not work in Live 8 64bit. The  64bit version allows you to have mixes larger then 2.2 GB. If you go over 2.2Gb in your ram Live 8 32bit crashes.    Live 8.4b beta 64bit is rock solid on Windows 7 64bit and Windows 8 64bit. I've tested  both.

Incase anyone wants to know...  I have Jbridge 32 to 64 bit vst hosting and it's been doing the job well.  I have Windows 7 64 bit pro i3770 sandybridge 3.4-3.9.   Sylenth1, synthmaster 2.5, arturia brass 2 and a giveaway version of Minimoog.  They all work well except with Brass 2 theres a couple not so obvious things that are easy to figure out in the options to allow the drop down windows to work.  Live 8 beta 64 bit seems to work well too.
