Is it possible to use MIDI mapping to trigger Undo and Redo?

Hi.  I would like to be able to assign a couple of pads from Novation Launchpad User2 mode to trigger Undo and Redo so that i can operate my recording workflow from the Launchpad.

Since Play, Stop, Global Record, and Overdub are buttons displayed on the interface I was able to successfully assign User2 pads to operate these.

However, I see no buttons for Undo and Redo (am I overlooking them?), and pressing Ctrl-Z and/or Ctrl-Y at the point in the mapping setup process where I would otherwise click an interface button did not create a mapping.

At this point, I'm stuck.   I would -really- like to liberate my recording completely from the computer screen.  If this is not currently possible, I respectfully suggest this possibility for addition to a future version of Live.

You will probably have to use translating software like midi yoke or similar..
This Lets you translate certain button-signals into actions like ctrl+z .

    Hi,

I think it really sucks that Undo isn't implemented as standard command in the midi mapping view. Now you have to get a midi translator to translate a midi command to Ctrl+z.

I am going to try midi yoke, but it would be cool to be able to assign it to a pad within ableton.
